Overview and master plan process

PDX 2045 involves forecasting future needs, understanding current capacity, and comparing alternatives to meet changes and demand over the next 20 years.

PDX at-a-glance

PDX is made up of many parts. You are probably familiar with the terminal, but PDX has facilities for air cargo, fuel storage, and even its own fire department! How space gets used at PDX is a key part of the master plan update.

Social and economic impact

Planning and development

Forecasts

PDX is growing. Planning for the future starts with understanding demand. See below for expected trends for passengers, operations (take-offs and landings), and cargo.
